The Sun - 8th August 2020
Early start this morning, too hot to sleep anyway.Seeing was a bit up and down but managed something in all three lights.
Ca-K full disk, the usual 6 pane semi inverted false colour variety
The only half-decent prom in Ca-K
And a mosaic of the Active regions using the ES 2x focal extender
AR12770 in white light @2000mm focal length and some granulation (poor seeing evident in the granulation shot, not to my usual standard)
Then on to H alpha with the Quark and the focal extender, 4 pane mosaic of the active regions
Proms, including a 3 image sequence showing the evolution of the largest prom over about 45 minutes.
