Hello all!
Several times, having previously prepared, I managed to capture the transit of the ISS. Once I tried to shoot the transit of a large artificial satellite, but the angular size was too small for visibility on the video. When shooting sunspots, I unplanned photographed and took videos of airplanes and birds in front of the Sun.
Very rarely, balloons were visible in front of the Sun: I am attaching my video which I took from Korolyov, Moscow Oblast, Russia (with my camera Canon EOS 60D with 2x Barlow lens, 640x480 video mode; telescope: Sky-Watcher BK P2001 EQ5; filter from Baader AstroSolar visual film). Here you can see flying bunch of balloons on September 13, 2015 and single distant balloon on September 14, 2015.
On May 9, 2020, I took a photo of a close (therefore defocused) balloon in front of the Sun, during the transit of Mercury, with the same camera, through the same telescope, from Moscow. I am attaching this photo.

Re: Balloons in front of the Sun
Interesting captures. In the summer I get lots of helium balloons passing over and have captured several as they crossed the sun. The best one looked like a flying handbag but was actually a Beer Mug balloon!

Re: Balloons in front of the Sun
These are excellent fun to see, although not great for the environment in the long run
