halpha sun of August 10

Post by stef41 »

Good evening, everyone,

I take advantage of a few days in the Vosges (the mountains, in France! :) ) and its temperatures a little more clement (32°C instead of 38°C at home) to make some pictures of the sun this August 10th.

At the fs60 with its sm40 double stack, BF10 and zwo178mm on staradventurer around 10h15 UT

Like Rainer’s images, yours make a good supplement to those of the GONG network. They are of much use as a guide to what is visible to a humble visual observer. 👍🏻😃

And like Rainer you use Takahashi scopes!

yes, after the deconfinement (in France), I've been very busy and I didn't have much time to devote myself to the sun (but I still made some observations from Neowise ;) ).
I take advantage of these few days on holiday in the small Vosges mountains to make some pictures of our favorite star! :D

With kind regards,
stéphane
