Limb Spicules & Prom, our Fuzzy Star! | HA | Aug 13th 2020
Hey all,
I had a short window due to storms, so I only managed one image. I took a look at the limb to see the dancing spicules and an arching prominence under fair seeing conditions.
Seeing conditions (had some moments of sub-arc, but it degraded fast as clouds came in)
Equipment:
C8 Edge + Full Aperture D-ERF (1rst) + Baader Red CCD-IR Block (2nd D-ERF)
PST 1A Etalon + 10mm BF + ASI290MM
Very best,

These are beautiful shots of the limb, Marty.
I also hope you and Valery can resolve your issues.
Cheers.

Marty and Valery, both of you work so hard and produce such beautiful images, let's try and keep the peace on here.

Hey guys. I removed the arguing posts. There’s no place for that here.
Cloudy Nights has much better arguing so take it over there.
No, I dont want any private messages explaining who’s fault it is, just be nice. We’re all professionals and academics here.

Hello Marty,
Your presentations and with you excellent imagery is certainly something to savour. Such fine detail including the negative-images...
If I could even get half-way to your standards, I would be very pleased and at least over the last three-months since joining SolarChat, I can see what I would like to achieve (and post here-of course) and am working a little closer to that end.
Best Wishes and thanks vm.
Terry
