Full disk 15-08-2020

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Are we already in cycle 25 or still the transition period between cycle 24 and cycle 25 ?

Lately we have had a lot of spots with cycle 25 polarity ...

OK, here my discs.

In H-alpha no spots but a few disturbances on the surface. My wish ¿ AR 2772 ? did not develop to a spot, ¿ maybe later ?

From the 4 prominences in all 4 limb quadrants only one really survived on the NW limb while the NE limb prominence is a pillar or feather.

Look like AR 2770 is prodicng some fine prominences.

Just one noticeable filament in the NE quadrant and some very fade filaments spread all over the surface.

AY 2770 is on the verge of the NW limb but still shining strong.

the AR 2771 are has become bigger but no spots as already mentioned.

In the White Light image we can the faculae of AR 2770 at NW limb and the non developed wish ¿ AR 2772 ? is in the SE quadrant good visible. Looks like there are ¿ very very tiny pores ? in that non developed AR.

Also visible some North Pole faculae as well as a bit South pole faculae.

BTW, Space Weather Prediction Center is announcing the return of AR 2767 in the SE quadrant at about -22°.

As usual best seen in full size in a new Tab/Window :bow2

Nice views Rainer. Thanks. Rain and storms knocked me out of action yesterday.
