H-alpha session 9 August, 130 f/7
Hi,
Sunday, 09 August at 5 o'clock seeing was not as promising as it might be in the afternoon between clouds, and I used 130 aperture.
The only today I found time for processing of the last weekend imaging.
I made the mosaic of 10 images of 3 AR's: 12770, 12769, 12768, scaled down to 70%, and a stable prom in SW with very fast small plasma bursts nearby.
thanks for looking
Leo

Re: H-alpha session 9 August, 130 f/7
... from the same session:
it's always intriguing to recognize what's flying over the Sun while imaging
I cropped and made low-quality GIF in PIPP, keeping the original frame rate about 130
it looks like a usual balloon-type UFO with the visible antenna, like a rope hanging down
your kind suggestions are welcome
Leo

Hi Leo,
Looking closely on it it is a weather balloon for me as you can see a long rope hanging on the lower part.

Re: H-alpha session 9 August, 130 f/7. Animation
Hi,
thanks for replies! Nice balloon indeed
I'm not familiar with animation, but I tried to manage it using the imgalt (thanks to GreatAttractor) alignment and PIPP.
it came out well to catch a small fast burst
14:29-14:54 UTC, 26 frames, 6fps

Hi Leo,
Agreeing with the others, it is almost certainly a balloon for weather-observations or otherwise and well presented in your animation.
Also your other images and animation - are just excellent - thanks for sharing

That's a great animation.
Imgalt is a bit of a blast from the past Try ImPPG, it has the same function (Tools/Align image sequence...), and more besides.

Re: H-alpha session 9 August, 130 f/7
many thanks to all!
to GreatAttractor: I tried ImPPG also as you advised, the result is a bit better, but a limb is slightly moving aside while making .gif after aligning, I don't know why. My personal respect for your SW
regards
Leo
