Full disk 18-08-2020

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Here I am again. Had my annual endocrinologist check and everything OK UFF

OK, I had some free spaces between the cumulus clouds, we have Hurricane strength 4 named " Genevieve " at the pacific coast and so ~800 km away to where I live it makes himself present with giving us clouds ...

In H-alpha two big prominces visible. One at the SE limb at about -40° and the other on the NW limb at about +45°.

There is a new AR 2772loacted in the Northwestern quadrant at +18° and 31°.

Not much filaments on the surface but 2 big disturbances at -20°S and +33°W as well as -30°S and +5°W

In White light I had a big surprise seeing a lot of pore ( I see no penumbra so ¿ no spot ?) I am counting 12 pores :?:

On the North pole I see much faculae and on the South pole nearly nothing. There is also a nice faculae on the SE limb and one developing pore if I am not wrong.

As usual best seen in fullsize in a new tab/window :bow2

Big pores and little pores...hmmm...I also see two filaments in your images that I missed.

Great job as usual, Rainer.
