Surface, Spot, Faculae and Protuberance in CaK with a T300

Post by allhoest »

Finally, here are the pics taken with a CaK rear filter in the train.
The protuberances were more challenging, as the light flux is very low and was mixed up with internal reflection. Forgive me for some stronger photoshop intrusions here.

Alex:
Really nice results, specially if you open the CaK prominences and details of the spots in another window.
Regards,
Eric.

Thanks again,

The filter is a Lunt Cak.
The front filters of the Lunt have been replaced by a KLine.
As per the Kline pictures with the same scope, the pictures have been taken from St Véran / France (Alps).
