Hello all: today seemed to me more like a prominence day than a chromosphere day. There were three filaments that I could see, but the action was really in the proms. I used the Solarmax90 SS and the PG Flea 3 camera.

Hope you had a chance to image this weekend too.

Hi Franco, glad to see that your Westport weather was far-better than ours in S.E.England albeit a change is possible and hoped for in the next day or two.
Yes the proms and filaments were the nature of today...

Thanks for the excellent images

Thank you Phil, Terry, James, Jochen and Mark for your nice comments. Last night for the first time I tried the HaT scope on the moon, with telecentric and no filters. I used the ZWO 174 camera. I will post separately on Sunlit Earth with more images as soon as I have time.

Franco:
Nice and clean images of the Sun and Moon.
By the way, I have used the 102mm f/7 Stellarvue to take the Moon using the full aperture ERF and the 4X telecentric, it gives nice images.
Best regards,
Eric.

Thank you Eric and Alexandra for your positive feedback. The moon images show dark on my computer at work. They were much brighter with my home computer. How do they show on your computer ?

Looks like you had excellent daytime and nighttime sessions there, Franco. Lovely images of direct and reflected sunlight. ;). I agree, the proms were the best features over the weekend in Ha.
