Sunday 13-9-2020 CAK+PROMS and Ha latest

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

Well having just seen Frank's latest version of his CAK image fabulously showing proms so well, I hesitate now to show my latest example of today's session, but with fair seeing conditions this morning and calm too, here goes.

(Apologies for the unusual Ha+proms image, but couldn't get the processing program to do what it usually does)...

Thanks for looking
Regards
Terry

Thanks James.
Hopefully when we have some spots, I can make the final adjustments to the WL system, but I suspect those three possibles will be over the edge before long...

Cheers
Terry

You got them, Terry! And one can see clearly the correspondence between h-alpha and CaK proms, nice!

Regards,

Frank

Good job Terry. You wait until the solar cycle kicks in, active proms are the ones that really stand out in CaK, quiescent less so.
