Sunday Sun 13th September 2020

Post by Carbon60 »

Just a couple of FDs from late this afternoon. The seeing conditions were not great being so late in the afternoon and it IS September, consequently all attempts at anything at higher resolution failed to produce anything worth keeping. Even these FDs appear a little soft.

Calcium II K, 4-pane mosaic in mono and colour. Very little activity except for a small bright point of magnetic activity.

Hydrogen alpha FDs using a DS Lunt 60- 6 pane mosaic.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Alexandra. I agree; anything is better than nothing. The weather is looking to remain good for the weekend :)

Great looking disks, Stu. Here the winds are bringing over the smoke of the fires on the West coast.

Great images, you just proved that even a sleepy Sun looks awesome! The DS Lunt 60 is impressive.
