This all sounds so familiar. The company I work for, GE Current, an LED/HID lighting manufacturer was sold to American Industrial Partners ( AIP ) a little over a year ago by General Electric. So far the changes in benefits, policies etc has been relatively minor but I have never felt really comfortable being owned by a company not even on the NY stock exchange. Private equity companies have a reputation of buying/selling business in a fairly short time or liquidating them if they cannot. I do miss being under the umbrella of a major corporate giant. But even then, GE is not the company it once was. I just hope for the best and wish the employees of Omega Filters the same.

Hi

Perhaps the supply of rubbish seconds filters will dry up.
Or Bob has more time to devote to the hobby business.

The LPR filters are very good and at a seconds price.

Cheers. Andrew.

Hi,

I emailed Bob and he said:

I do plan to continue to work closely with the amature scientist community. Check omegafilters.com for additions to the listings of Experimenter's filters as well as other categories.

The LPR filters were made on the request of the community and are excellent. Far better than the metal doped types. Cut out Sodium and the Mercury/LED blue.

Cheers. Andrew.
