A very quick 10 minute session this afternoon in between Zoom lectures.
All taken with PSTs and FLIR Chameleon. I could only see the new AR on the eastern limb as a hot bump in Halpha, I couldn't see it in CaK.

A nice quick session, Alexandra. The Sun is so blank at the moment, although something might be coming around from the east . It's a pity the weather is about to change here.
Do you know what species the transiting bird was? It looks pretty big.

Yes Terry, those Newton's rings on the Chameleon are a challenge I need to sort when I get more time
No idea what the bird is, I wasn't quick enough to look up. Perhaps a Gull as we have quite a few flying around at the moment.
