Re: New roll-off-roof
A close friend of mine was out tonight viewing the moon through his TeleVue 85 refractor and describing the views. And now Pedro you give me a view to go with his descriptions. Cool! Very nice images. I would love a TEC 140!

Re: New roll-off-roof
Thanks a lot guys
The new roll-off works like a charm. I had to do a quick TPoint model yesterday (Paramount ME + SKY X) to gets things running

Re: New roll-off-roof
Who needs a motorised RO-RO roof Pedro - when you have made it so easy.
Mine as a motorised version which takes up-to 20-seconds, whereas yours is about 5-seconds.
You probably hold a record for the time to start observing/imaging - amazing...
But you nearly forgot to deal with the fisheye camera...!!
Quite amazing and if I decide to add another observatory as yours, I would certainly remember your excellent videos...
Thanks for sharing
Regards
Terry

Another fine and intuitive video Pedro.
You've even got the white walled background for basic scope-alignment by shadow, which can help.
You didn't forget the camera this time - so well done !!
Many Cheers

Re: New roll-off-roof
PS... I take it you've also got one of the helicopter type thingies for those overhead shots - which are great.
I've got one, but unable to fly it here as too close to an airport. Perhaps I'll get one of my pilot colleagues to get me back-up there and take some overhead-views, which has been done in the past, but not with the completed observatory though...
Cheers

Alexandra, you're absolutely right, it was a patch of concrete that was crying to be transformed into an observatory (since 2001)
