Re: AR2781 IS CRACKLING AGAIN 7/11 & my best 6/11 images
Thank you Gentleman.
I'm trying to improve on the processing and as the Sun is getting low, just limited imaging time between a neighbour's new-tree and a monster one some distance away...
Cheers
Terry

Re: AR2781 IS CRACKLING AGAIN 7/11 & my best 6/11 images
Thanks you so much Alexandra.
After going back to basics and with the new cams etc., I have just managed to get to this stage before then Sun dives below the FOV. I might get a few minutes of imaging, but that's about all for this year - I guess, from the observatory at least.
Am looking at just taking WL images with my DMC-G2 WL equipped Camera from other areas of my garden. Also with the new Revolution R2 Imager where the final part of that is arriving on Monday for self-contained recorder of images...
I will all the telescopes in the observatory as it is for the next Solar-appearances in January/February onwards.
I might do some Lunar work from the observatory with the Orion ED80 (as is the WL scope) and as easy to just take-off the HW and point it wherever...
I see that the Cak image is "Spotted", so although there are some FAb images from others, it is so nice to see that mine is recognised amongst those
that a far superior... Thanks vm
Regards
Terry

Good job Terry! You're always going to get better images from a stack than a single image, we need to teach you how to read the quality graph in AS3 to get the best out.

Yes Mark -- sounds good and as I have kept many original capture-files, it may be that during the Sun-down period, that I can play with those and ask for your opinion.
Rainer has also been helping, so I guess playing with the AS quality graph, is one of the next things to get under my old "grey-matter." As somebody else said recently, learning is not the easiest thing to do, when the "grey-matter" ages...
Thanks vm in advance
