h-alpha disk, November 7th, 2020

Post by LTHB »

Clear blue skies in November, almost unbelievable for northern Germany, and late afternoon seeing quite good, so I tried a disk mosaic.

Image

Unfortunately I botched the focus of the top pane.

When I switched to CaK the sun was pretty low already, so I didn't get a good video of AR2781 anymore, just one ot the other active region:

Kind regards,

Frank

Very nice images, Frank. Good detail in AR12781 on the full disc image and excellent resolution on the CaK image.

Thanks, folks!

Rainer, I wanted the post-flare area not to burn out, but you're probably right. I keep that in mind for the next mosaic!

Regards,

Frank
