SDO IS SHOWING DARK-SPOTS IN THE S.E. AR****

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

SDO is showing some interesting activity within the new AR near the S.E. limb, so hopefully keeping the current-spell going-on longer...

Also in around three days, STEREO is showing a further active-region - which will be close to the limb too...

AR2782 is this newbie Sun-spot area in the S.E., which is putting-out C-CLASS flares as can be seen on spaceweather.com today.

Oh yes Alexandra and again it is currently flaring with "C-class" flares at 1900+ hours/Thursday, so it does look as if we will have another delight for the next few days...
