19-12-2020 THE AR IS LESSONING

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

Well it does look as if the oncoming AR is degrading in size, albeit there seems to be activity from it as the SDO image shows.

Yesterday and todays Heliographic images show the difference over 25-hours...

Yes Mark and I did note your use of the STEREO image in the pressy..

The latest still shows a smaller AR coming over the boundary this evening !!

Cheers

Looking at today's HMII, it appears a good sized sunspot is on the limb.

Thanks Guys.
I can't see your "good sized Sunspot" as such Dan at HMII/1700hrs today, but certainly the AR is becoming visible, so indeed watch this space...

Cheers
Terry

I caught the spot earlier today. It is on the SE limb.

Thanks James and yes it is now "spotted" in the SE.

Was a tad surprised as it seems is just over the top of the AR...

Cheers
