Sol from the 19th of December 2020.

Post by eroel »

Hi:
A sunny day but haze and clouds, so used some bigger gaps to take some mosaics.
Thanks for looking.
Have a nice and safe Sunday.
Eric.

Excellent work Eric. I love especially the last three images which concentrate on the three plages located in the solar southern hemisphere. The detail is absolutely superb. And nobody resolves the spicule mottles on the disc like you do! Aesthetically beautiful my friend. Have you ever thought of colorizing any of your images?

I wish I had super-vision and could see like this!!

An excellent set of images Eric, thanks for sharing. Hoping for some sunshine myself in a couple of hours, cloudy at the moment though.

Alexandra, Phil, James, Stu, Jochen, Mark, Franco and Terry:
Much appreciated comments, thanks for looking and commenting.
Looks like I have to calibrate the home observatory monitor and the one I use for processing.
Hope all have a sunny and safe Sunday observation.
Eric.
