Sol from the 12th of January 2021.

Post by eroel »

Hi:
Again as yesterday it was hazy and cloudy, just had the chance to get one set of FD.
It took a lot of patience to wait at the monitor for the few times the Sun appeared through a gap in the clouds, had to keep pausing the recording and waiting to get the same values in the histogram to take the surface image and the prominence one.
Meanwhile at the home observatory I was working in a Law problem on my portable PC, so time went fast. :)
Thanks for looking and keep safe.
Eric.

Images Eric. So you image your surface and proms separately?

David:
Yes, I take a "surface" recording and then a prominence one, later I make the composite in PS.
Best regards,
Eric.

Very nice FDs, Eric. It can be so frustrating waiting for those gaps, so you did really well.
