As expected the first of the new AR's is now on the far-eastern-limb and SDO shows that it is active today. Small but hopefully will remain active.
The large AR approaching the S.E. should become visible by Saturday and hopefully will end the present quiet surface-features spell...
CLEAR SKIES

Thanks Franco, Alexandra and Fabio.
Just had a close look at SDO's images and there is something on the East Limb, but nothing definite yet...
Cheers
