15-1-2021 TWO SUNSPOTS - SOUTH CENTRAL at 2000hrs-Z

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

Thanks to a post-reply from Dan, SDO are now showing the two spots in the South-Central area, which itself has been am area of possible activity over the last few days, so at last it is awakening with the 'spots.' (No need to call the doctor this time)...

Also looking at the S.E. to N.E. areas - note the activity within and outside of the limb...

CLEAR SKIES PLEASE/

Terry

We need to be keeping an eye on the sw limb. Given the size of what is coming round I would expect some proms to herald the arrival first.
