16-01-2021 STEREO + AR2796

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

Hello Sun-Gazers.
This morning heralds a restart to AR's taking-over from the 12-day quiet spell.

The South-central spots (started to appear yesterday) are now numbered AR2796 and as the SDO image shows at 10:55z today.

The oncoming and large approaching AR to the S.E. Limb is expected to cross the border tomorrow (Sunday/17th). Hopefully it will give us some more action(s)...

Cheers
Terry

Thanks Mark and I hope you have some images today.

I wish you some clear skies today or as soon as possible Alexandra.

Yes I had thought the same Dan as either/and #2794 or #2795, but should be issued new numbers as, when and if....

That AR is just coming into view at the limb at 2200z - so hopefully...

Cheers
Terry
