Hi,
After two days of clouds some Sunshine today and here the result.
I was also able to shoot a 2 hour timelapse of AR 12797 from 14:50 to 16:50 local time and around 17 hours the Sun sets behind the West wall of my Observatory. Not much activity.
https://rainerehlert.com/00_SCHForum/20 ... SR_USM.mp4
Quite some activity around spot AR 12797 in a very wide area around it.
In White Light interesting to see those two spots with a Half moon shaped penumbra.
As usual best seen in full size by opening a new tab/window

Enjoyed the animation and of course your images. Seems like all the activity is in the south.

Re: Full disk 21-01-2021
Fabulous images and I loved the animation you say not much activity? I see loads. Lots of flare activity like lines of hot lava shooting about and a massive outflow of material being ejected, I would call that lots of activity.
