23-01-2021 04:00z THE NEXT NEW AR IN THE N.E.

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

Morning Everyone.

At an early-morning opportunity today, the latest image from SDO showing the new AR by the N.E.Limb is showing what appears to be a largish dark area, which may well be a Sun-spot, especially as this area has been quite active over the last two days with prominences..

I'm sure that it will soon be known by at least one of us, that this is going to be another Northern Hemisphere spot/or set of.

You will need to zoom-in to try and ID this area, as a tad difficult to see.

CLEAR SKIES for everyone.

Cheers
Terry

Thanks for the report Terry, thanks for the sketch Marios!
