Hi all...

I had another short session on Thursday, and used the LS80T double stack for the session again.

The image below is the full disk created with separate disk and limb images, with the limb inverted to enhance the small proms. A pretty quiet view again with a few small proms and scattered filaments:

I took multiple images using the Explore Scientific 3x focal extender with the scope to try and pull up some more details. As it turns out, I managed to cover the while disk and made the full disk mosaic below:

We are to be getting back to cold weather starting this weekend, so I hope that brings some clear skies again. Just need some activity to follow

It looks like you've captured a couple of pale plages in the NW and SW near the limb.

Thanks everyone for your feedback...it is always appreciated

I was surprised the mosaic turned out as well as it did...I usually avoid them since they take more work than I care to give to even up the variation between frames
