6-2-2021 GOOD NEWS !!!
Well here in S.E.England where I am, is suffering the effect of an "Inversion-Layer" (Cloud/Fog down to a very-low level of 50-feet) and prior to expected heavy-snow falls later today.
But, reviewing the various satellite-imagery, there is some better (if not, GOOD) on the horizon for some decent activity - in a few days though...
A large AR in the Eastern Hemisphere (30-degs N) is showing on the STEREO and will be +3-days away from the limb.
A small/bright AR within the visible-side is a possible flare/Sun-spot location whilst it travels across the disk.
Also a couple of small AR's in the Southern Hemisphere - reaching the limb in 24-hours, might also produce Flare/Sun-spots..
SDO's imagery is also interesting, as although the current-disk is virtually blank, there are some small/very-small AR's which are worth keeping an eye-on.
Proms are still quite shallow, but at least these add to "not a lot else today."
CLEAR SKIES TO ALL
Terry

Thanks for the update Terry, under the same inversion too. There's a slim, slim chance it might break soon. Fingers crossed!

Re: 6-2-2021 GOOD NEWS !!!
Thanks vm Mark and James. An update to the 12-hours old report/forecast above, is:--
At around midnight, the attached images clearly show that shortly the S.E.Limb is to receive an AR that is already very active with small proms,
as Mark T., captured in his image - earlier today.
Further update expected around mid-day-z on Sunday.
Cheers
Terry

Thanks, Terry.
Looks promising. It's a pity the weather here doesn't look so great.

Re: 6-2-2021 GOOD NEWS !!!
Thanks Mark, Stu and Franco and I can now at midday Sunday, confirm that the S.E. AR is quite active and now just visibubble on the S.E.Limb as a prom, and no doubt should (hopefully) end the holiday for the S.Hemisphere.
Snowing here today and much more expected at -0.1-degsC...
