Full disk 07-02-2021

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

4 days of Sun and here the discs

In H-alpha some more filaments visible in the southern hemisphere as well as a small plague on the limb. ¿ Will a spot develop ?

In White Light some plagues visible as well on the southeastern limb but no hints of a spot.

Rainer,
It's amazing how the Sun changes even over the course of a few hours as seen and imaged from observer to observer. I can see changes/differences in the features between GONG Cerro Tololo, My visual observations, Nigella's images and your images. We all see many of the same details but there are also a fair amount of differences too between what each of us see/image. Part if it may be method or technique but The Sun sure is a fickle critter! :cat  Always in a state of change.

Great job as usual!! :bow

Well done yet again Rainer. I was hoping that SE area would have a sunspot.

Hi Rainer,
I'm hazarding a guess that the new AR on the S.E.Limb border will or should have a spot or two as clearly prominences would normally dictates, but of course whether they and the AR last long-enough during its' transit across the face - is another matter...

I do hope so, as might allow me to do a capture in one or more of the three-lights from here...

There may also be an approaching AR in the N.E. approaches to the limb, but too early to confirm that as yet...

Thanks for you posting
Terry
