Prom and small active region 9th Feb 2021

Post by Carbon60 »

A bit cold this morning (I can hear Brian laughing... ) and lots of clouds with small irregular gaps, so it was a bit of a challenge and a bit frustrating, but I managed to capture a couple of images of the main prom and proto-spot.

150 mm/Lunt 35 Mod
2.5x Powermate
Basler acA1920-155um (Sony IMX174 sensor)
Genika Astro image capture
AS!3 stacking
ImPPG deconvolution/sharpening.

The proto-spot first

And the prom....

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Looking good Stu! You're on the right side of the country for better skies at the moment. I'm looking for that opportunity to sneak out of work at lunchtime and get some sun in the afternoon - maybe thursday or friday.

Many thanks, everyone.

There might be more opportunities to image today/tomorrow. The forecast is cold, but clear. We'll see.

Stu.
