Sun in H-Alpha 13th of February 2021

Post by arnedanielsen »

Dear all,

Here's todays catch.
Sun_120049_Ha_20210213_ZWO ASI178MM_lapl5_ap3368_Sharpened_Contrast.jpg
Sun_120049_Ha_20210213_ZWO ASI178MM_lapl5_ap3368_Sharpened_Contrast.jpg (1.92 MiB) Viewed 202 times
Equipment used for this image was a Coronado SolarMax 60 II w/BF15 filter, Baader 35nm H-Alpha filter and ASI ZWO 178MM camera. Everything mounted on a Sky-Watcher SolarQuest mount.
Stack of the best 60% (1650 of 2751) images captured with an exposure time of 29ms and 30fps. Gain reduced to 130 (from 150 used in the previous days). Stacking done in Autostakkert 3, sharpening in AstraImage and contrast stretching in Adobe PhotoShop.

Best regards,
Arne
