2021-03-01 - A few quick lunchtime disks

Post by JochenM »

A lovely sunny day here.

Managed to squeeze in a quick session over lunch. Not too overly much going on at our parent star today; so figured it would be a good opportunity to image with the LS50 again (haven't used it in a bit) to get a quick full disk. And a quick CaK one while I was at it (although the seeing wasn't quite up for it by the looks of it).

Setup:

HA: Lunt LS50, IMX178.
CaK: 80ED, Lunt CaK b1800, IMX178.

Thanks for looking!

Wow!! I really like the CaK proms, yes that prom in the SW was very energetic when I was watching it so I am not surprised it was CaK bright :hamster: :bow

Despite it being glorious blue sky the seeing was pretty awful I agree ;)

Very nice results, Jochen. I really like the color effect on the last one...
