Today's SUN (20210301) | SM90II - not just a paperweight

The SM90II/SM60 combo seems to be working fine. Not easy to adjust the two etalons though

Interesting results Pedro! Sometimes it's just about finding that right combo.

Thanks Mark

I used this combo visually with a TMB100 f/8 a few months ago. It seems to work fine although I'm restricted to 60 mm aperture...

Looking good, Pedro. Could be a winning combo.

That's an interesting setup. See, Meade Coronado isn't all bad.

Jaegers. I haven't heard that name in awhile. They were well known for quite a number of years. I wonder what happened to them.

Splendid images as typical of you, Pedro.

Superb series of images Pedro :bow

The 90/60mm DS looks very good...too bad the 90mm is limited to this use to get the best out of it. I'll bet it adds a lot of weight to the scope!

Not bad Pedro, you just need to buy another SM90 to match it to :)

Thanks Brian & Alexandra

Yes, I was thinking of buying another SM90 too...

I adds some weight but the Taka EM400 is very sturdy

Another 90mm...I'll bet you want to be able to test it to ensure it is worth more than the 60mm equivalent value of the one you have ;)

I will buy one if I can find a good pre-Meade etalon and try it first.

I bet pre-Meade etalons are hard to find. I came into this Ha game way too late. :(
