A few days ago ...

Post by MAURITS »

A few days ago I had a lot of misery to have a reasonable recording of the sun.
Seeing and transparency below all level.

So this is my only result after a lot of bad images processing.

150 mm refractor.
ASI 174MM camera and Interference Eliminator.
Quark Prominences.

It looks good Maurits! I certainly battle seeing and transparency often.

Under the circumstances you have certainly got a well-good image Maurits.

At least you can do some imaging, whereas today the observatory-computer decided to not fire-up beyond initialization prior to starting, so will have a further go tomorrow and awaiting my supplier to ask.
I might have to use another machine..

Thanks for sharing

I like your image Maurits. Sometimes the conditions are very frustrating, but you succeeded in getting one image.

Yeah, sometimes conditions are not ideal Maurits, but it's a good capture. Terry, hope you get your computer sorted.

It can be so frustrating when you have all the equipment, skills and time to image, but the conditions just don't cooperate. You did really well here. Lovely image.
