Sun in Ha 6th April 2021

Post by Carbon60 »

Ha FD with my DS Lunt 60 and a closer view of a small magnetically disturbed region captured on my 150mm/DS Lunt 35 mod. The location of this region of chromosphere is shown (red box).

The seeing conditions were almost unworkable with the 150, so I was surprised I got anything out of this session other than the FDs. I just hope our seeing here in the UK improves as the season develops.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Considering the conditions Stu, you have remarkably-well captured these images.
Let's hope the SE AR - does produced something more, whilst 2813 dives over the edge and is receding too...

Thanks for sharing

Terry

Nice shots Stu, the full disks are coming out really well now. That disturbed magnetic region has faded off since yesterday, it had pores then but couldn't detect any today.
