Session time is 11:00am until 11:56am EDT. The skies are mostly cloudy with the majority being overcast with high cloudiness. Seeing seems ok. The temperature is 66F.
Coronado SolarMax II 60 DS. 16x and 21.5x ( Ha )
Despite seeing through high clouds I can easily see the now numbered plage AR12814 at or near the LCM in the south and a hedgerow prominence on the NE limb. I tried to see the filaments in the north and east but never could with certainty pick them out. I can see the mottles though.
Orion 70mm Solar telescope. 25x, 50x and 62.5x ( WL )
The spots of AR12814 are easily seen though small. Some of them are so tiny and close together that they are hard to count. I would say around 12 in all give or take a few. I cannot pick out any faculae today. The granulation is visible though.
Carpe Diem!
James

Re: April 13 2021 Observations
You are welcome Eric. I had a lot of clouds today and work to do outside.
