a few minutes of happiness April 13

Post by banjo »

Hello,
cirrus clouds but who cares, we go there anyway, this one did not last very long and visually the movements were visible.
Paul

very long to load (27 and 19MB -> reduced, full size 61MB)

from 6:40 a.m. to 7:02 a.m. UT down to have the width of the sensor

Image

7:04 am to 7:58 am UT reduced to ~ 0.7 format

Amazing animation!!! :bow :bow :bow

Thanks for sharing Paul.

So fast movement in just 22 minutes!!!!???? Has anyone tried to estimate the speed?
Roughly it seems to me that this is 5x Earth diameter in 20 minutes.
That is (roughly once more...) 12,742 km x 5 / 20 minutes = 3,185 km per min or 190,000 km per hour!
Is this possible? Am I wrong?

All the best,
Alexandros

Very nice work Paul. The speed in which the plasma moves is amazing.
