HA and Cak from yesterday 15th April.

Post by Stardust5858 »

Hi all, hope many of you are enjoying the sunshine for those who are in the UK. A day late with these images and observations from yesterday 15th April. Seeing wasn't the best again but that's life. Astronomy has it's challenges, lol. At least the solar observatory is well and truly up and running now. Mount nicely slews to the sun and tracks flawlessly. Only thing to do later is put on a triple dovetail for the three scopes, WL, HA and CaK. Thanks to everyone for their support and encouragement. I don't always get the time to post every time I've had an imaging session.

New AR on the South Eastern limb which today a of the 16th April is producing a couple of nice larger spots than of late.

Thanks for looking.

Nigella,
Excellent collection (I like the CaK proms!) and well presented.
Well done.
