HA and Cak from yesterday 23rd April.

Post by Stardust5858 »

Hi all, please find attached images taken with the Lunt 60mm DS and 100mm Cak scopes. Seeing was pretty atrocious, worst I've experienced so far and don't want to experience again.

Some of these are really nice even with the bad seeing. The first, third and fourth are really nice.

Two of these are really large files.

Thanks James. Yeah, upon looking I didn't save them in 8 bit. It was really late in the evening, lol.

Super result Ella, despite the bad seeing.
Seeing is the weakest past in the imaging train ...

That's so true. Poor seeing plagues me often. :(

They came out well given the conditions!

Thanks Mark, appreciated, I'm not happy with the results but what can you do. At least it's an observation.

When conditions are bad stop the scopes down, smaller aperture gives better results when conditions aren't good!

Another Fab set of images Nigella, even though some as PNG's are a tad too-large for SolarChat and take long to show-up...

Thanks for sharing
