Farewell to Sunspot Group AR2818-20

Post by Martin_S »

Today was my last chance to Image this sunspot group, as we have rain forecast for the next 5 days. I managed one capture between the clouds before a rain shower ended my session. It's not all bad as I have a Lunt B1200 Cak module due on Friday. I contacted Faye prior to ordering and she gave me a good price on shipping to Australia, a lot less than the automated system on the Lunt website. They also tested the unit prior to despatch. Now all I need is some cloud repellent for when it arrives.

Nice photos Martin.
Glad to hear you are waiting for a Lunt B1200 Cak module due on Friday.
I also contacted Faye today, since they are about to test my 130MT with the first available sun. :-)
However, I had to order it through OPT, since Lunt do not ship directly to Europe.
Are they doing so to Australia also for scopes or just for small filter modules?
Wish you to have a lot of fun and success with your new CaK!
All the best,
Alexandros
