May 4th 2021, Prom at the SSW edge
Hello everyone.
Yesterday I had the opportunity to hold this beautiful Protubaranz group on the SSW edge at 1:00 p.m. CEST (rotated 180 °) in one image.
LZOS 6" f8 Apo, Baader D-ERF 160, TV 4x Powermate, SolarSpectrum 0.3 À, ASI290mm.
CS,
Jozef

That's a really nice close up Jozef. The 290mm really digs into the detail.

Hello Mark.
Despite oversampling ... it delivers good results. I like it.

Hi Jozef,
Nice capture. How do you overcome the seeing conditions ? Are you imaging at very high altitude ?
At such high resolution, I would be checking the sampling CCD and also the image scale.

Hello Magnus.
CS Jozef
Yes, I live on the fourth floor. How do you overcome the seeing conditions ? Are you imaging at very high altitude ?
Why ... I like the slightly "blurry" of this 290mm with the oversampling. This works particularly well with protuberances. She can very finely reproduce the grayscale. At such high resolution, I would be checking the sampling CCD and also the image scale.

This is not a bad idea Alexandra ...... this is how you avoid the ground-level pollution with fine dust.
