Catch up 1st May 2021

Post by Montana »

Last one and I am up to date :)

Saturday was very dodgy with the weather, it would rain really hard, then the Sun come out for 30 minutes, then another heavy shower. So I managed to catch the Sun only with the fast set up of the PSTs in gaps. It took two gaps to get the set. I was quite pleased to get these.

Newton's rings were zapped with 'Pattern suppressor' in Photoshop although I didn't do the prominence one. All images taken with the FLIR Chameleon and the PSTs.

I witnessed the same lovely prom as Brian (Mapleridge)

and that's all until the Sun pops out again. The weather at the weekend doesn't look too hopeful though.

Great set. No trace of Newton's rings remained. The prominence is very beautiful.
