AR12829 June 5, 2021

Post by ffellah »

Hello all: we have a middle of summer like, very warm weekend here in the NE with temperatures approaching 90 degrees. I should have chosen today as the seeing is better but with these things you never know how it turns out and today we are having some family celebrations anyway, so busy with other things. I found AR2829 to be much more spectacular than AR2828, so I focused on that. The seeing started OK but deteriorated quickly. I was still able to get some captures I am reasonably happy with. Plus, we had an unexpected visitor at the pool... :)

A very nice set, Franco, including the frog.

Hope the family celebrations went well. A nice taste of freedom after lockdown.

Really nice images Franco. Can you remind me what kit you are using?
I see the problem with your pool, you built an entrance gate for small amphibians.
Best wishes,
David

Thank you Mark, Stu, Terry, Phil, Stephen and David for your nice comments. I used the HaT scope with the 0.7 focal reducer and the 9.1 Mp PG camera for the wide field view and the 174 chip PG camera for the close up. It was nice to hug our kids and their ladies and be together without masks after all this time. Phil: the frog after showing up did not participate in the actual party… :D
