Proms from June 12

Post by gabrieli »

The last few days have produced some decent prom images of the large prom on the south west part of the sun.
I had to use heavier processing than usual and had to use more noise reduction than usual in some images.

The set up was the same in all cases: a 180 mm Mak. a 2X Powermate, and a 3.2 Mp Blackfly S camera.

Below are the results for June 12.

Thanks, Brian.

This past winter treated me well in the sense that there were some new acquisitions and minor upgrades that had me looking forward to this season. Last imaging season was not very productive for me but this season has already started by enabling some pretty good prom images. I'm optimistic.
