Images of past days in white light

Post by davidem27 »

Good morning everyone,
as I said in my presentation post, I am a solar newbie.
These are my first solar takes and I would like to improve my skills of studying the behavior of Our Star in photosphere and chromosphere.

The Lunt 60, used in these pics, is from a friend of mine who kindly borrowed me its equipment.

Cannot upload pics in the forum space, so I'm going to add links:

Very nice images Davide! That 120mm ED shows surprising resolution on the solar granules.

Those are really very good. For the white light photos, did you use any additional filters along with the ND3 ?

Thank you so much for your visit and appreciation.
I knew that 120mm resolution would give me good results, but I did not expect to reach granulation details!

I did apply Continuum filter after the ND3.

Amazing shots, I would never have thought that this was taken by a beginner.
