Heads Up 19th June screenshots

Post by Stardust5858 »

Hi all, quick update of todays activity before I start my DIY, lol. Managed Cak, WL and HA this morning. Prom activity has died down a bit but several smaller proms dotted around the disk, AR2833 still putting on a nice show. Some larger filaments with several smaller one's. Hope everyone has a nice weekend and stay safe.

Thank you Ella for your latest captures showing quite clearly that the AR2833 region is getting more active and with 5-days to run, hopefully will produce more action too..

Regards
Terry

That's a very nice preview Nigella. I am setting up now but it looks like clouds are moving in. I don't know how successful this session is going to be. Tomorrow does not look good, I have a tropical system coming up from the Gulf of Mexico with possible heavy rain.

Thanks Terry, hopefully we'll see more action with AR2833 in the next five days. I'm forecast rain for the next two days, hopefully get some captures in before it disappears.

Thanks Franco, hopefully I'll get around to processing the backlog of data over the next couple of days when I'm forecast rain.

Thanks James, hope you get some successful captures today. My forecast for the next couple of days is rain as well.

Ella,
I didn't image but I did get some really sharp views, especially in white light. I am gathering my notes and guide images now and preparing to post.

Nigella:
Thanks for the screenshots, in México City it is cloudy and rainy since early morning, just had a chance to get one set of FD´s with the Solarmax 90-DS, no chance for HR or CaK imaging.
Wish you a nice weekend.
Eric.

Nigella, a great presentation as always. I noticed that you were using EQMOD for your telescope control so I tried it, wow what a difference. I never thought of using it for Solar imaging. Thanks for posting the screenshot it's made my imaging so much easier.
