AR12833 in Ha June 20th 2021

Post by Carbon60 »

My wife's birthday today and a family get together (within the COVID rules here in England), so too busy hosting to do anything solar until late in the afternoon/early evening when, coincidentally, the lingering patchy cloud cover dissipated allowing the Sun to break through. The seeing conditions were poor at this late hour, but not totally hopeless and at least I was able to capture a few SER files of AR12833 before things really turned for the worse as the Sun headed for my neighbours roofline.

Here's the best of the bunch, captured on my 150mm/DS Lunt 35 mod.

Ahhhh, very nice Stu. Exactly what my eyes have been longing to see. Only clouds here. I’ll probably miss this AR completely.

Thanks,

Phil

Many thanks, Alexandra. I will certainly pass along your best wishes to her.

It was lovely to have the family around after such a long break. Julie revelled in all the attention. :)
