Beautiful, wide-field animation!
There's a lot of activity within 1 hour, especially in the prom on the right.
Cheers.

Alan this is fantastic!!! :bow :bow
There is so much detail at the limb as well as on the proms!

Can you please tell us:

If you have a SSM as an indication of your seeing during this capture?
What max value did you use in your histogram? 85%?

It seems the powermate 4x makes a great job. Are you happy from it?

and something last... (sorry for the many questions)

How did you make the animated gif being animated in Flickr? I tried today but failed and then read that this is not possible! what is the magic you did? ;-) And did you upload the entire Gif here, or is it the link that plays in your post? How you make all this?

Best wishes,
Alexandros

I didnt have my SSM connected. I tossed a few rubbish frames. I used lucky imaging (captured 1000 frames and stacked about 50). I adjust gamma and gain to overexpose the disc but not the spicules (see image for example on prior animation).

I upload the .gif to Flickr
I clicked share, BBC code and original. I think embed option works, too. The key is the share the ORIGINAL file. Only the original will be the .gif.

The powermate is ok with Ha but not Cak.
