Sol from the 21st of June 2021.

Post by eroel »

Hi:
Hazy and high thin clouds during my session, thought that I would not get results, but the scopes did it.
Thanks for looking.
Wish all the best for this running week.
Eric.

Eric!
You have a SolarMax II 90 doublestacked scope like mine! I didn't realize that. You take wonderfully detailed images using it. That's awesome!

Eric. I’m really impressed with the sharpness in your images. Particularly with the Stellarview, even more so that you do it with not the best seeing. Well done!

Alexandra and Guys, much appreciated comments.
James, yes the Solarmax 90 works very nice, it was one of the first ones made and the good part is that 2 well known American friends, helped me to match the 2 etalons in one amateur telescope convention years ago.
This scope is old and I think it learned to take photos, I just press the recording. :D
David, the Stellarvue is a 102mm f/7 triplet refractor, fitted with a 4X Baader Telecentric and a very old Daystar 0.45A° T-Scanner that needs new trimmers.
The Stellarvue optics are very good.
Best regards to all.
Eric.
