Well done Terry, you beat me to it today, lo. I was out running so only just in the dome and finished captures. Did you see the small surge associated with the plage area in the South Eastern quadrant?

Re: 24-6-2021 OLD SOL today
Hi Ella,
Thanks your reply and no I didn't see that.
Around 6AM, couldn't sleep, so looking out of the windows, showed a well-clear sky, so opted to try some imaging instead.
Hopefully more will happen with both the SE and NE AR's..
Cheers
Terry

Re: 24-6-2021 OLD SOL today
Well done Terry. By the time the Sun reached my obs, the sky was very milky which again spoiled any chance of an Ha image.

Re: 24-6-2021 OLD SOL today
Thank you Ivan. The Calcium-scope is my personal favourite - usually.
Yes Dave, obviously we have the same weather and the early rise was worth taking advantage of before that milk and cloud occurred.
Also we are beginning to get the jet-contrails back again over us, so that doesn't help either.
Cheers

Re: 24-6-2021 OLD SOL today
That's a nice colorful image Terry! I got only a quick look-see in today using my Lunt 8x32 SUNoculars. I could see the spot of AR12833 and some faculae. It did end up clearing off some, late.
