Ha and CaK FDs 5th July 2021

Post by Carbon60 »

A gap between weather fronts brought periods of clear skies and a chance to capture some FD images on my Lunt 60 (Ha) and my 40mm Altair (CaK). I tried some hi-res Ha on a larger aperture, but the afternoon seeing just wasn't up to it.

Anyhow here are the results:

Here's hoping for some clear morning skies with great seeing.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Wow!! the Halpha is really stunning, a lovely CaK too. Looks like the big spot is about to say goodbye. Glad you saw some Sun, nothing down here.
